Victoria Baths

Victoria Baths

Opened in 1906 and named “Manchester’s Water Palace”, Victoria Baths was built to improve the health of local residents, with three swimming pools, a Turkish Baths, a laundry and bathrooms. Now partly-restored, thanks to public support, the Baths is Grade II* listed for its stunning internal features, including intact tilework, superb stained glass and mosaic flooring. The building is a unique heritage visitor attraction and events venue. Victoria Baths Trust, the charity who run the building would love to re-open the Turkish Baths and a pool for swimming, alongside events and private hires. Restoration work continues.
