A pub steeped in Second World War history The Knatchbull Arms, in Stoke St Michael, has in its 500-year history, welcomed some of the most famous army generals in the world, including General Dwight D Eisenhower, who became the 34th President of America, from 1953 to 1961.
The Knatchbull Arms is said to have played host to the largest single gathering of British and American generals in 1942.
We offer live music as well as a dartboard, and a skittle alley. Or feel free to just sit around and enjoy good company and a good old game of cards.
