Nicolas and the Saints are launching their long-awaited album 'Goodbye to Brighton'.

In this hometown return, the band will play the record in full. Expect volleys of rap over infinite feedback delay, smokey bar ballads and half-time punk. A sprawling diaspora of jazz, blues, hip-hop and rock set to literary lyrics and a Waitsian growl, occasionally softened to a tone described as "molasses over hot coals" (1BrightonFM).

LAISH
“One of the best songwriters of his generation inside and outside of British borders.” 7.5/10 – Ondarock

Honest, self-reflective songs and stunning live performances, sung with a distinctive, plaintive tenor. Gentle fingerpicked acoustic ballads and robust art rock jams about relationships failed and survived.

Laish's latest album - Pendulum Swing - came out last year on respected French label Talitres.

MARA SIMPSON
"A perfectly balanced blend of folk, blues and Americana" - Line of Best Fit

She's captivated audiences around the world with her soulful melodies, rich lyricism, unassuming charm and wicked laugh. With a style of writing equally as eclectic as her background in Kenya, Berlin, New Zealand and Brighotn, Mara delivers an old soul voice with a unique perspective.

BRIDIE FLORENCE
"A futuristic bubble of simplistic songwriting and slowing vocals... heart-wrenching for listeners... addicted to her sweet sound" - The Music Manual

With the hum of Joni Mitchell and the buzz of electric Dylan, Bridie's distinctive voice was developed during a childhood in Bahrain, Kenya and the UAE before finally settling in Brighton. Her songs are brooding and soulful with a subtlety that belies her age.

It's a beautiful listed building on two floors combining the best of old and new Brighton. On the walls downstairs is a magical Paris skyline painted by Lisa Dickson, which creates an unforgettable bohemian, Moulin Rouge effect and everyone from Amy Winehouse to The Kooks has graced the stage.

Upstairs the restaurant bar has a glorious skylight and is cool and spacious. Both floors have full PA and lights. It's only 50 yards from the pier practically on Brighton seafront and holds 200 people. Unlike most other venues it is available on Fridays and Saturdays. It's the perfect party venue.
