Polar States/ Wild Front

Polar States and Wild Front close out their busy years with a joint headline UK tour

Polar States -

2018 saw Polar States cement their reputation as one of the UKs most exciting new bands, signing with Killing Moon Records following the band entering Spotifys Viral 50 chart, and selling out the Liverpool O2 Academy.

Having grown up in towns dotted around the Northwest of England, the band came together with a relentless aspiration to create an existence bigger than the world they were born into, pushing back on foregone notions of how you should live your life.

They spent their first two years quietly writing and refining their sound, whilst privately sending out demos to their followers on Instagram.

The buzz surrounding the band caught the attention of Coldplay Producer, John Withnall and BBC Introducing Merseysides Dave Monks, who quickly pushed the bands first official release through onto BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, all before their first gig.

Supports with The Japanese House, Wolf Alice, Clean Cut Kid, Fun Lovin Criminals, and Toploader, followed, as well as slots at, Kendal Calling, Liverpool Sound City, The Great Escape Festival and more. The band then went back to the studio to complete their recent EP, All You Couldnt See, with Larry Hibbitt (Sundara Karma, Nothing But Thieves, Sea Girls, Bloxx).

One of the best bands to come through Introducing Merseyside Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1

Wild Front -

Everything is falling into place for Wild Front. says Clash Magazine. A four piece Indie rock outfit built on an eclectic amalgamation of musical tastes. The end result - catchy anthemic grooves accompanied by erratic, driven guitars. Wild Front have continued on an upward trajectory, kickstarting 2019 by announcing their exciting appearance as the first band on this years Main Stage of The Isle Of Wight Festival. Receiving thumbs ups from the likes of BBC Introducing, Emily Eavis (Glastonbury), Radio 1, Radio X and Johnny Marr to name but a few, we arent the only ones expecting big things for these four.
