A true icon of modern music, the multi-talented jazz musician returns to London to perform music from across his career.
It was Hancock himself that said that theres no such thing as a bad note. The Chicago-born and classically trained musician has always had a career routed in the heart of music; he prides himself on playing emotionally and memorably. Having started his career playing with Donald Byrd and the Miles Davis Quintet, and more recently collaborating with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra, he has influenced genres including electro, and remains at the forefront of jazz and R&B today.
With six decades of practising and performing under his belt, expect a night of much-loved melodies and a chance to hear some unexpected deep-cuts. With a wealth of experience from composing, playing, and contributing to the arts, Hancocks show will highlight the universality of his career and successes to date.
