Sermon On The Moog - Thunderbolt, Bristol

Thursday

Blessed are the poor in wallet, for theirs is the guest list discount.

Blessed are they that mourn, for good music is headed your way.

Blessed are the underwear flingers, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall not be heckled from on stage.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after alcohol, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall come early and see all the acts.

Blessed are the cheesemakers?!

Blessed are those of 80s spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Thunderbolt.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward for your ticket purchase!

THE PROSAICS

'A young enthusiastic artist with an original approach to the music he performs- Doug Welch (BBC RADIO KENT)

'Intelligent electro pop for a generation fed up of being force fed manufactured "bubble gum reality" pop'- (photogroupie.com)

treads in size tens on Morriseys bloated toes as the king of teenage bedroom diary angst- (ratsontherun.wordpress.com)

'The Prosaics' is the pseudonym for singer & multi-instrumentalist A.G. Williams.

Booted in Dr Martens, upcoming artist: 'The Prosaics' revamps 80s synths and English folk into modern indie-pop hits.

Distinctively crooned songs of English grit and whimsy paint the slate skies and drizzle of the industrial Medway Towns (as the Northern 'mad-chester' scene did some 30 years ago). A.G.'s lyrics provide scathing and darkly humorous insight into a tiresome world- infested with fickle television 'idols', political despair and run-of-the-mill chart music.

The Prosaics has headlined and performed at various festivals and venues across the UK, alongside esteemed acts such as The Magic Gang, The Amazons, Mystery Jets etc. His following in the local scene is constantly growing and he is thought of as an artist with a bright future ahead.

The Prosaics' songs are far from prosaic. In fact, he's hardly prosaic at all...
