The Scullions return with the epic Shakespeare tale of Antony and Cleopatra. Re-imagined in the roaring 20s, were telling this ancient tale through the decadent, party-fuelled lives of the young and disgustingly-rich aristocrats of the time or the bright young things juxtaposed with the dark, dangerous criminal underworld of prohibition America. Join us on a journey through the caverns of Bristols Loco Klub in our immersive and promenade production.

Cleopatra was born to the greatest fortune in Egypt. Accustomed to such wealth, her lifes a constant party of drink, drugs and fancy dress. Dubbing herself Queen of the Nile she and her entourage feel like gods. But vanity and power crave excitement. By arranged encounter, Cleo finds herself lover of a very dangerous man Mark Antony of Rome and one of a trio of men that run the criminal underworld with an iron fist as The Triumvirate. As Antony and Cleopatras worlds collide, shockwaves course through them and the universe is changed forever.

The acting talent of this young company was remarkable, with no weak link. Each was utterly convincing and kept the attention of the audience strung tight.
