Comedy At The Greenbank - Gavin Osborn & Wil Hodgson

Wednesday 5th November - The Greenbank - £5

10 years after winning the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe, Wil is an experienced storyteller and comic. A leftie feminist punk, with a skinhead and Care Bear tattoos, Wil is a unique voice and we are delighted to bring him to the Greenbank.

"genius" - Russell Howard
"attitude in spades … a talented raconteur" -

Gavin sings songs that are both hilarious and heartbreaking. He has written for and performed on BBC Radio 4, written and performed story shows with the award-winning Daniel Kitson.

"Funny and touching. Osborn walks a similar tightrope [to Loudon Wainwright III] but remains perfectly balanced" - Stewart Lee, The Sunday Times
“Completely wonderful. A genuine, wistful treat for anyone finding themselves past thirty and seeking a soundtrack to a good brew.” – The Quietus

Bisha is a stand-up comic, comedy writer and playwright. Her relaxed, easy charm and sparkling wit make her one to watch.

"It is a rare treat to see a new comedian with a unique and instantly defined persona. Bisha already seems to know more about comedy than many veterans of the art form" - Adam Bloom, Comedian

Joshua Sadler is a tiny northern man. Weaving hilarious, surreal tales from his own personal experience, he is also very, very funny.

"Joshua is one of the best new acts I've seen, his relaxed and engaging stage manner make you warm to him instantly" - Scallywags Comedy
