Join us for a FREE outdoor screening of 'Bambi' (1942) this summer!

Pack a picnic or grab a sandwich and drink from the cafe or 640East kiosk, and join us for a free screening of the Walt Disney classic.

Deckchair seating will be provided on a first come first served basis. Don't forget to wrap up warm or put on some sun cream if it's hot.

Please note, due to some exciting summer activity taking place on Millennium Square with 'Summertime on the Square', which features a whole host of games and activities for all of the family, we'll have space for around 300 people to watch the film, so it'll be a first come first served basis for space! Storyline: In this Disney classic a young deer named Bambi joins his new friends, a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk named Flower, in exploring his forest home. As a boy, he learns from his doting mother and his father, The Great Prince of the Forest, that there are dangers in the open meadows where hunters can spot the animals, and he meets a beautiful young doe named Faline. As Bambi grows up, he learns that there is tragedy as well as beauty and joy in his forest world and on the path to adulthood.

In response to the climate emergency, we have selected films this season that highlight the urgent need to change our ways and live in greater harmony with the natural world. Inside We The Curious, all of our Live Science activities this summer focus on the positive actions we can take to limit climate

We will also be screening:

The Lorax - 31st July
Beasts of the Southern Wild - 7th Aug
Avatar - 21st Aug

We look forward to welcoming you!
