Ignition's 3rd Birthday

To celebrate an amazing 3 years, we’ve put together a heavyweight line up consisting of some our favourite DJs. We hope you get as excited by this line up as we are!

Dj Randall

Randal, recently voted the world’s best jungle DJ and often referred to as the god father of breakbeat. we challenge you to try and have a conversation about the rave scene, breakbeat culture or Jungle/D&B and not mention the name Randall. Impossible. The DJs DJ, most if not all in the industry will claim Randall as one of their major inspirations. The truth is, Randall IS Drum & Bass. Nearly 25 years in the game and his selection is as impeccable as ever, still mixing as faultlessly on two turntables as he ever did,

Voltage (Jungle Set)

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to have emerged in Drum & Bass in recent years, Voltage is a man in demand as a DJ, producer and label owner.

Renowned for his ability to select for any crowd in front of him, Voltage delivers vibes you’ve genuinely never experienced before. With high profile shows at major rave destinations such as One Nation, A.W.O.L, Warning & Sunbeatz, his tried and tested all-style blend of jungle, jump up and deep, demonstratively dark rollers suits any dancehall in any corner of the globe large or small.

Everything you know, understand and love about the past, present and future of drum & bass, smelted down into the raw essence: T>I’s sounds and selections smoulder with the original jungle spirit while locked firmly into tomorrow. The end result is a timeless fusion that’s resonated with fans from all corners of the dance and the biggest names in the game.

We are more then hyped to be joined by the smiliest guy in the game! Artist, MC, Poet, Father, Chef. Spanning genres and pushing art in it’s most primordial of forms wherever possible, Inja is a true talisman of the underground UK music scene.

Having cut his teeth from an early age upon hearing GQ, Stevie Hyper D and Bassman on a cassette type, like so many before him, he was immediately drawn in by the lyrical craft. Rolling with UK hip-hop demigods Task Force and collaborating with fellow Cambridge rapper and Delegates of Culture wordsmith Skuff, he honed his craft with poignant lyrics, positive vibes and a unique showmanship that few can rival. His message has always been an integral feature of Inja’s work, and nothing captures this more so than his spoken word features on The Huffington Post and The Guardian, tackling issues from Immigration to Women’s Rights, Inja speaks out wherever he see’s fit.

MCs: Inja, Trafic, Medic, BlueJay
