For our second party of the year, we invite two guests, one to DJ and one to play LIVE. First, we have Alex Picone, owner of the amazing Seekers label and Small Black Dots vinyl distribution company, Alex has become a hard-working staple name in the scene dedicated to quality and longevity. Residing in Berlin, Alex hosts regular acclaimed Seekers parties in Berlin, his old hometown of Venice and Ibiza where he invites the likes of Binh, Evan Baggs, Francesco Del Garda and Onur Ozer, as well as many of the labels Alex runs through Small Black Dots, where he sells a massive selection of new and old, techno, electro, house and everything in between. He is currently releasing many different EPs across a myriad of labels and monikers and all to the high standards he has built over many years doing his thing, so it's a real pleasure to bring such an artist to Birmingham for his first time. Check out one of the many mix links we will be posting and you will not be disappointed!

Next up we are really happy to present John Shima who will be playing the first live set at Evolve. We love a live set but have been waiting to bring in the right ones for what we are trying to create and John ticks every box. Having first pricked our eyes on the excellent Boe Recordings a few years ago we have followed his journey, collecting his music and tuning into his live jams on the internet which led to John featuring a standout track on Tom's Illusion Recordings last year. John will be showcasing his old and new tracks via his amazing live modular setup and we can't wait to see what this Sheffield local will bring to Birmingham.

Warming up and closing proceedings are residents Lopaski and Tom Craven! If you've not been to the old Rainbow pub for while, definitely come and check it out!
