Sue Redfern is a medical herbalist working in Bristol for 30 years who uses mainly local and common therapeutic "weeds". She will talk about the growing, wildcrafting and harvesting of herbs and her practice and the importance of plant medicine. Sue believes that working as a herbalist brings together people and plants, restoring our health and reconnecting us with the natural world and in common with others in her field she focuses on sound nutritional absorption as part of her work. Offering a truly authentic experience with a five course tasting menu in the rustic, cosy and relaxed environment of Salt Cafe in Bristol. **MENU** Amuse Bouche A rich coconut, chilli & lemongrass infused soup with fresh coriander & lime. Hamilton House Open Day 2017

Were opening our doors at noon on the 30th September for you to come and see what goes on inside Hamilton House. There will be free dance, yoga and fitness classes; drop-in wood whittling, painting and printing; yummy food, hot drinks and cheap booze. You can join in regular tours of all our hidden spaces and hear our vision for the projects future. Wander around the open studios and explore the creativity of our community. Well be wrapping up the day with an invitation to join us for the Coexistence Festival for an evening of live music, DJs and dancing! Since opening our doors in 2008 we have grown organically into a thriving community hub. I Am Making Art: Mending / Tending

Make art from found paper, family photos, maps, thread and other ephemera with artist Kelly O\'Brien. Discover the delight and poignancy of blending images and materials to tell your own story, or as a starting point for further exploration. Bring along copies of images you would like to work with. Some further materials will be provided. I am Making Art These monthly activity sessions are led by artists and take place in the Spike Island Caf. Visitors of all ages and abilities can try out new techniques and approaches to making art, from drawing and painting to collage, sculpture and animation and are invited to drop in any time during the session.
