Since the 1960s, the orchestra has produced hundreds of EPs and dozens of albums, music influenced by traditional Beninese music, American soul and funk, Nigerian afrobeat, Congolese rumba, Ghanaian high-life, French pop and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Original members Vincent Ahehehinnou, Gustave Bentho and Loko Pierre have spearheaded a resurgence of the powerful ensemble, embarking on a thrilling new chapter of their inimitable live shows following the success of latest release Madjafalao (2016).
