Janice Payne, community ranger said: ‘`We have been organising this popular event since 2000 and as well as being great fun, it also promotes responsible dog ownership. There will be lots of fun competitions, plus an array of information and advice about looking after pets. We are once again pleased to be raising money for Cheltenham Animal Shelter.``
Councillor Roger Whyborn, cabinet member for sustainability: ‘`Events like this pull the community together and send out an important message about animal welfare. I am sure the day will be a great success and lots of fun for everyone.``
