Something very special is happening at Start The Bus in Bristol on February 1st. Nashville based psychedelic rock band The Paperhead will be bringing their live show to the Westcountry, along with support from The Bad Joke That Ended Well. Make sure you come on down: these are both stars in the making!
The Paperhead debuted back in 2011 with a self-titled album that some may mistake as the rediscovering of a lost gem from the 60s. In fact, this young band only began to make music a few years ago but have progressed immensely since. First touring domestically, 2014’s album Africa Avenue saw them reach the dizzy heights, securing those much sort after gigs over seas. This February will see them perform live at the fantastic Start The Bus in Bristol. It’s a concert that can’t be missed from the psychedelic rockers, and one of only four being played in the UK on their extensive European tour. If you like Tame Impala, The Beatles or The Kinks, then discover them for yourself below, and save the date: you might just make them your new favourite band!
THE BAD JOKE THAT ENDED WELL
The Bristol based garage rock band will be making an appearance before the night’s main act. If you’ve seen them before you’ll know that they always pack a punch in their live set, and have enthralling on-stage antics. Dubbed as having a heavy psych edge, they’re the perfect warm up for our special guests across the pond!
