The alias of British tech-house and drum'n'bass producerJames Rockhill, Kove began producing music in 2008. The following year he moved to London to produce for an electro-pop band. From there, he continued to hone his skills and started to produce higher-tempo dance music. Exploring and creating drum'n'bass tracks, he soon caught the attention of Viper Recordings boss Futurebound and subsequently released "Stellar/Breach" on the label in 2012. The follow-up single, "Iodine/Open Ground," was issued through Andy C's Program label in October 2012. In late 2013, he signed toChase & Status' MTA and remixed their single "Lost & Not Found" before releasing his EP, Measures. The track "Love for You" from the EP was featured heavily on BBC Radio 1Xtra and garnered national and commercial praise. He was soon remixing the likes ofBastille and John Newman, and July 2014 saw his most successful release to date with the song "Way We Were" which reached the Top 30 on the U.K. singles chart.
