Landlord Mark and his team are bringing this traditional Cardiff local right back where it belongs – Into the heart of the Roath community.
Many improvements have been made in such a short space of time.Log burning stove,brand new kitchen,smokers Marquee and alfresco patio area including new aluminium furniture.
The kitchen opened for business on the 17th of April with the first of Chef Lorraine’s superb Carveries.The restaurant opened on the 16th of July to serve sizzling Beef Steaks.
A skittle alley is available to any groups who wish to indulge in a bit of sporting activity.
We have a superb function room which is available for hire free of charge. A triple bi-fold set of double glazed doors have just been installed and this should help the local residents enjoy their peace and tranquility.
We received our first beer review via the South Wales Echo Beer Hunter “Arfur Daley.”We were on the telly on the night of Tuesday July the 12th. And within a fortnight we feature in “Redhanded” the Lads magazine,front page apparently.Exciting times.
